During this class I will teach students the basics of creating a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation. Skills include: presentation best practices, navigation, adding slides, modifying layout, adding text, images, and shapes, transition/animation effects, running a slide show and saving. Students will need access to Microsoft PowerPoint (any version). I will explain each skill, provide a demonstration, then give students time to try the skill on their own as they create a presentation about a vacation place that they have visited or would like to visit. If time permits, students will have the opportunity to show their presentation at the end of class.
