The students can choose to learn their words before the class to be more successful.) Day 2: Read a Halloween-themed Pokémon story. Day 3: Creative activity: Draw a Pokémon in a costume and label it with vocabulary words. Day 4: Students write a short Halloween story featuring the words. Day 5: Sharing time: Present stories to the class. --------------------------------------------- READING EXAMPLE WITH VOCABULARY WORDS. Suddenly, out of the shadows, Gengar appeared with a spooky grin. “Gengar!” it laughed, enjoying the fright it had caused. But instead of running away, Ash had an idea. “Gengar! Why don’t you join our party?” Gengar’s eyes lit up. “Gengar loves parties!” it replied. With a wave of its hand, Gengar made all the pumpkins glow brighter, casting a warm, friendly light over the gathering. Everyone was relieved and excited to have Gengar at the party. They played games, danced, and shared spooky stories about their favorite Pokémon. Ash dressed as a brave Charizard challenged Gengar to a pumpkin-carving contest, and Misty brewed up a special “witch’s brew” punch for everyone to enjoy. As the night went on, the spooky atmosphere turned into one of joy and laughter. The real fright turned out to be the fun they were having together! ----------------------------------------------------- Join us for this Pokémon experience, where each month brings new vocabulary challenges and fun!
