Class Experience

Students will join a professional actor and director as he teaches your child how to be a TRIPLE THREAT!

What is a "Triple Threat" you may ask? Good question! A Triple Threat is a performer that is good in all three areas of acting, singing, and dancing. They are that person on stage that has a high level of confidence and the one you pick out of the crowd.

Please sign your child up for my small class as I work on theses different areas and help them become a better performer and TRIPLE THREAT!

----------------------------------------------------
Each week we spend a little time working on:
(1.) Vocal warmups
(2.) Share a story about your week to work on speaking clearly (diction) and slowly, while having good volume (projection). These are all skills a good actor should possess.
(3.) Review a song we learned in the past class.
(4.) Acting games and exercises.
(5.) Learn a little of a new song and dance (movement).

Learning Goals

- Students learn to sing, act, and dance.
- Students will learn how to perform and "tell the story" (this requires good acting skills)
- Students build confidence in themselves and their performance.
- Students are given new music to work on and perform. This gives them material for auditions and to perform with.
- Students learn how to "sell" themselves at an audition and how to "get the part"!

Parental Guidance
Due to this being part dance class, any physical activity could result in body injuries. Although this should not happen, a twisted ankle or slipping on spilled water could cause injuries. It is important to stay well-hydrated and drink plenty of water. I always suggest a bottle of water with a lid to keep it from spilling on the dance floor. Please make sure you have plenty of room to dance and move around in.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree in Art and Design from The University of Tampa
I am very proud to have performed professionally in national tours, dinner theatres, commercials, and movies. I also have taught students all over the world while living in Egypt and India. I have worked with famous Indian Bollywood and Egyptian actors in their current films while also teaching their children the art of acting and singing.

My vocal training comes from the famous Noelle Rogers, who sang lead soprano at the Metropolitan Opera with Pavarotti and Placido Domingo.

I currently have 2 of my students performing in WICKED as Nessa Rose (the girl in the wheelchair) as well as Fiyero.

I am also a director and choreographer and direct 9 shows per year and work with some of the best talent on stage.

I am excited to bring all of this knowledge to your child and help them succeed!
