US Grade 6 - 7
We will focus on eight vocabulary words from the National Reading Vocabulary lists for 6th and 7th grade each week. Each class will start with learning eight new vocabulary words along with their part of speech, synonyms, and ways to use the word in a sentence. I will encourage the learners to use the new vocabulary word in a sentence to demonstrate their understanding. After we have learned and practiced our eight new vocabulary words, we will have a Kahoot game to test their understanding of both the new words we learned. Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I am so excited to meet your learner!
I have worked with dogs most of my adult life, and loved every minute of it! I took care of dogs while their parents were at work or traveling, as well as worked in dog nutrition and dog training. Our family rescues dogs.
I homeschool our two children (ages 11 and 12), so I have knowledge in math, history, science, and English as well. I used a Montessori approach in teaching our children math and we love playing games to practice our knowledge.
I teach classes that are interactive and love to answer questions. I want to make sure that students have their questions answered. Oftentimes I will send worksheets for students to do after our class meets for further instruction if they are interested in additional information.
