Students will practice playing by ear and learn to play seasonal winter and holiday tunes on the violin. Students will also learn ideas for performing their songs for family and friends with a virtual concert.

In this asynchronous course, you'll learn to play winter and holiday songs on the violin. We'll be working together to play by ear and improve our listening skills. Students will learn to play several seasonal winter and holiday songs on the violin. Students will improve their ear-training and ability to play by ear. Students will gain confidence in performing for others. Students will learn positive and safe ways to share their music online and in-person and perform for family and friends.
- Lifelong violinist and fiddle player - Music educator with over 10 years of experience - Teaching experience includes 1 on 1 and group lessons, both online and in person - Licensed Teacher with master's Degree in Education - 10+ years of classroom experience - Enthusiastic and encouraging teaching style - Quick response time for questions and feedback
Students will research and share versions of each week's song with the class. Students will engage in class discussion and share progress with the other learners in the class. Students should practice each week's song at least once a day. Students will see more success with their repertoire by reviewing previous week's songs in their daily practice.

Students will receive teacher feedback through video and written comments.
