I can't wait to share my love of science, planets, and space with you! In this class, we will learn 2-3 facts about each planet, form our own planets out of Play-Doh, and set them into orbit around the sun! Who can name them in order by the end of class? What makes a planet...well, a planet? I can't wait to see your awesome planet creations. See you in class! _______________________________________________________________________ ◘Teacher Lisa's Classroom Rules◘ •Have Fun! Engage with your...
Learn the order of the planets, a few facts about each planet in our solar system, and form a playdoh model of each planet to "set into orbit." Fun and informative class for those who love science and space!

1 file available upon enrollmentPlay Doh! ☺ I recommend 5-6 cans (or more!) for this class. Please try and print the solar system worksheet before class. Otherwise, you can work on a flat surface like a plastic cutting board or cookie sheet & print the worksheet after class to transfer your planets.
• Hasbro website indicates: "Play-Doh is primarily a mixture of water, salt and flour. It does NOT contain peanuts, peanut oil or any milk byproducts. Play-Doh does not contain latex. Play-Doh is non-toxic. However, children or adults who are allergic to wheat gluten or specific food dyes may have an allergic reaction to this product." →Alternative (per Today's Parent) to Play Doh: " A safer alternative would be to purchase gluten-free playdough or make your own."
Fun, positive, and encouraging! That’s what I hear from parents and students alike that take classes with me. I have an extensive background in musical theatre and acting so it’s only natural to bring that side of my personality to teaching....
