Learners will have an opportunity to practice socialization by talking to a small group of peers they may not know. Kids love their pets and are proud to show them off! In this class, every learner will be given the opportunity to introduce and tell about their pet. Learners will be educated about other learner's pets and can ask questions, while the teacher facilitates. The class will begin with introductions, then each learner will be able to show their pet and chat with the class about it. If students want to draw, or color, a picture of a pet to share during class, they can.
Learning Goals
Students will practice socialization skills. Additionally, they will learn about other learners' pets. This is meant to be a fun and social class. They also can practice their coloring or drawing skills. This is a one time class.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree from Kent State University
Hello! I've been an educator for various subjects, and all different ages, for thirteen years. Now I'm a full-time educator in a middle school. In all classes, I believe that kindness is important. When possible, I like to use props
and games, both to keep learners engaged and to enhance learning. Interesting facts about me: I am a published author, and I'm a joint owner of a photography company. I enjoy fishing, reading, dancing, and walking my dog. Can't wait to see you in my classroom!
