US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this preschool and PreK show and tell class we will work on colors, shapes, letters, numbers, vocabulary, listening, taking turns and speech! Each week will have a topic, students will come to class with an object that they want to show-and- tell to their classmates and teacher. Week 1: Students will come to class with an object that is a circle or square shape. We will begin class with a hello song and a shape song. Children will then take turns giving 3 clues about their shape item and helping their classmates guess what it is! They will then show us their item and tell us all about it! We will practice using full sentences, speaking clearly and listening to others. Week 2: Students will come to class with an object that is their favorite color. We will begin class with a hello song and a color song. Children will then take turns giving 3 clues about their color item and helping their classmates guess what it is! They will then show us their item and tell us all about it! We will practice using full sentences, speaking clearly and listening to others. Week 3: Children will come to class with an object that begins with the same letter as their name. We will begin class with a hello song and an alphabet song. Children will then take turns giving 3 clues about their letter item and helping their classmates guess what it is! They will then show us their item and tell us all about it! We will practice using full sentences, speaking clearly and listening to others. Week 4 will be our last class. Children will come to class with an object that has to do with numbers. We will begin class with a hello song and a number song. Children will then take turns giving 3 clues about their number item and helping their classmates guess what it is! They will then show us their item and tell us all about it! We will practice using full sentences, speaking clearly and listening to others. Learners can put their object in bag so others cannot see it before their turn.
