Class Experience

This course on personal finance is designed to help even grade school students prepare for the future by learning how to establish a savings account, how to use a checking account, how to donate to causes that matter to the student and how much - while helping students learn about the stock trade and how to invest financially with intelligence. Students will be introduced to stock trade platforms such as Webull to learn how to grow their finances through dividends. Students will learn about cryptocurrency and inflation. The course offered will meet 1 time and students can re-enroll in the course if interested in learning more. My class is structured to meet for 2 hours to cover all of the information students need to know to be successful financially as young adults. I will teach using powerpoint, video, audio, and real time software from the platform of Webull.com. My teaching style is fun and engaging to help students learn this information well. Students will be able to interact through question and answer surveys throughout the course, students will be able to download Webull and view stocks, bonds, trade, and cryptocurrency at their own time.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi! My name is Lauren. I have been an online tutor for the past 3 years and a teacher for over 10 years. I love to teach and tutor! I have been a tutor since high school at Caldwell Academy in Greensboro, NC where I tutored math (algebra primarily) and science (biology). In college, I was given the opportunity to be a math tutor at Liberty University's math emporium and want to pursue a career in education and counseling. My degree is a BS of Interdisciplinary Studies of Natural Science and Health Sciences. I have also earned my Masters in Clinical Psychology. Currently I am also transitioning into my doctorate in accounting at London School of Economics and Capella University.

I recently added powerpoints for the course "intro to anatomy and physiology" online through youtube. All powerpoints are accessible for students and I appreciate subscriptions to my channel.
