Class Experience
This class offers a great way to experiment with writing in a playful, no-pressure way. Students can grow their comfort and skill with writing while enjoying collaboration with peers and exploring their own voices. At the start of class, each student gets a simple subject (just one word) that loosely connects with an overall theme with which to begin a story (first four weeks of subjects below). Next, I set a timer for five minutes, and students dive in and write, going with whatever arises...
