There will be one project during this one-time class.Class Experience
In this class, students will use basic origami folding techniques to fold two paper cranes. We'll work through folding one together slowly (I'll show folds on a document camera) then we'll do a second for more precision once students have achieved the basics in practice. No prior experience is needed however students should come to class with three square sheets of origami paper (any paper in a square will work). Two will be for the finished cranes and one will be a backup in case they need to start fresh! When we're finished, every student should have two beautiful paper cranes to display and new skills to share with friends and family.
Learning Goals
