Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 9
Beginner - Advanced Level
In these 1-1 sessions, I will meet with students studying 5th-9th grade math, Pre-Algebra or Algebra 1 and cover any topic they would like help with. If a student wants to cover a specific topic we will work on that, or if they'd like to brush up on skills they're already strong in, we can cover those skills. I use a variety of methods while teaching, but in a 1-1 session, I will work with students using direct teaching, interactive activities, and guided learning where students will demonstrate their understanding by working through problems with me. I have 13 years experience teaching math to students in the upper elementary and middle grades.
