In this class, students will receive private tutoring on any topic in 5th-9th grade math, Pre-Algebra or Algebra 1 (both middle and high school Algebra 1).

Beginner - Advanced Level
In these 1-1 sessions, I will meet with students studying 5th-9th grade math, Pre-Algebra or Algebra 1 and cover any topic they would like help with. If a student wants to cover a specific topic we will work on that, or if they'd like to brush up on skills they're already strong in, we can cover those skills. - Students will learn and/or strengthen their skills in the subjects of pre-algebra and algebra 1.
I have worked for 10+ years as a math teacher in the middle grades (6th, 7th, 8th) and have a Master of Arts in Teaching grades K-8. I also hold a highly qualified status in the subjects of math, science, and language arts.
You'll need paper and pencil for this class, and in some cases a ruler, compass, graph paper depending on what topic we're covering.
I will pull from various sources to support student learning as well as my own curriculum that I use when teaching full courses of Algebra or Pre-Algebra.
