We will move between the strands of Number Sense and Numeration, Measurement, Geometry and Spatial Sense, Patterning and Algebra, and Data Management and Probability in a manner that allows all students to join in and master concepts.  For example, following a focus on building multiplication abilities long division would follow, extending in to fractions, then to probability, and back to multiplication.  In this way students are able to see the connections between skills and concepts as well as join the class at anytime and be able to 'get up to speed' with the group quickly.

Mr. Brown, M.Ed., is the founder of Headwaters Academy in Ontario.  After a year of attending Headwaters his students achieve, on average, three grade levels ahead in mathematics (Canadian Achievement Test).  He is an expert mathematics teacher.

Homework Offered
Mathletics.com will have assignments three times per week that can be completed by many learners during class (for live help) but some may choose to work outside of class or need to complete work.  Rarely, if ever, will this exceed 20 minutes.
