Beginner Level
Students will build a simple room intruder alarm in this class. We will build a simple circuit using the popular Arduino micro-controller on the online learning environment TinkerCAD. Students will then write code to control their circuit also using TinkerCAD. Once their circuit and code is complete, students will then build the same circuit at home and download their code to their circuit to complete their simple alarm system. This class will last for approximately 1 hour 15 min. So, students will need to make sure they look at the video and handout provided BEFORE class starts

Students will get exposure to simple engineering concepts like basic analog circuits, microcontrollers and coding
