Description

Class Experience

Students will dive into the world of myth and magic and discover the history of the dragon, both in historical context but also in fantasy and pop-culture.

Learners will then create their own dragon and learn to draw one step-by-step. Once our dragons are complete we will color them in together and give them special names and powers. Learners will learn to spark creativity and imagine a world in which their dragon lives in. Together, the class will showcase each of their dragon drawings...

Students will learn all about the myth and magic of dragons and discuss their favorite types. They will finish the class by learning how to draw a dragon step-by-step and providing it with unique characteristics.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
