Multiplication Math Madness: 1 Thru 10 Fact Refresher and Tricks
What's included
1 live meeting
50 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
Students will participate in an engaging and meaningful skill-building small group tutoring session. The class will follow a gradual release of work (I do, we do, you do).In years past, my students have had great success with these methods to grasp multiplication patterns truly. I will provide visuals to better support learning and have a takeaway reference sheet to help them in the future. We will cover skills to help us with facts 1 through 10. Students can interact with my peers and me during class as they react to the new methods. After the course, students can compete with one another and show their new skills. We will play a 7-minute game to practice our new skills with a game of Gimkit. Students do not have to read at a certain level to succeed in this class, as all written questions and answers will be presented visually and orally.
Learning Goals
Students will acquire lifelong skills to help them better understand multiplication facts 1-10. Towards the end of our course, we will review facts and have time to interact with the teacher for additional math support.
