Each week we will practice multiplication problems using fun Blooket games. We start each class by going over the weeks' number on the timetable for 15 minutes, then play 20 minutes of Blooket and spend the last 10 minutes to go over the math questions and wrapping up. Blooket is a free platform that lets learners answer fun trivia questions to win a game and earn coins. Then we use different Blooket games to practice multiplication. The kids can talk to each other during the game or concentrate on winning the game. Here is a weekly breakdown: Week of Dec. 19 - Multiplication Factor 0 and 1 Week of Dec. 26 - Multiplication Factor 2 Week of Jan. 2 - Multiplication Factor 3 Week of Jan. 9 - Multiplication Factor 4 Week of Jan. 16 - Multiplication Factor 5 Week of Jan. 23 - Multiplication Factor 6 Week of Jan. 30 - Multiplication Factor 7 Week of Feb. 6 -Multiplication Factor 8 Week of Feb. 13 - Multiplication Factor 9 Week of Feb. 20 - Multiplication Factor 10 Week of Feb. 27 - Multiplication Factor 11 Week of March - Multiplication Factor 12 Once we cycle through factors 0 - 12 we will start over with the multiplication factors 0 and 1.

The goal is to memorize the timetable facts 0 -12 by playing fun games.

During the class we will be using the platform Blooket. Blooket is a fun game that ask learners trivia questions and the learners earn coins to spend on upgrading their Blooket character. Hello. My name is Michelle. For the past few years I have been tutoring English for non English speakers. In the past I have been a substitute teacher and hosted financial wellness classes. I have a BA in Film. Film and television are my passions. I look forward to teaching class about film studies, the American version of "The Office", how to make a budget and fiction book clubs. I believe in making the classroom fun and educational. I also enjoy having open discussions about the class topic. I am also a big Disneyland fan. I enjoying planning trips for my family to Disneyland. I'm excited to meet new student and always welcome retuning students.
