This FLEX course will post every Sunday morning for the week. One topic per week! A video of the lesson with examples will be provided. A jeopardy lab link game will be given so students can practice on whatever problems they would like. A kahoot link will also be given so they can play a game for individual practice! If there is a topic that is not covered that a parent would like covered, I can individualize the weekly schedule to best fit the learner's needs. Resources will be posted weekly for extra practice. Variety of more practice problems, puzzles, games, etc! I can be contacted all week if a student is struggling with concept, wants their work check, or needs additional assistance. This class is great for someone looking for extra help in a personalized setting where they can work at their own pace. I have my self contained elementary education degree (Kindergarten through 9th grade) with endorsements in ELA, Social Studies, and Special Education. I have a Master's Degree in Special Education (Pre-K through age 21).
I have 9 years experience as a 5th grade special education teacher and 2 years experience as an 8th grade general education ELA teacher. I have tutored reading, math, and writing for a variety of students. I believe in making learning fun and offering a variety of strategies to help students find the tools that fit them best. I believe in creating a safe environment for my students, and love learning about them as individuals!
