If you have a learner with wiggly feet that wants to get some energy out, let's move through the letters! During this 4-week course, students will learn the uppercase and lowercase letters, say letter sounds, write the letters, play letter games, and reinforce the sounds through movements that begin with each letter. Students will meet three times a week and dive deep into two or three new letters for each class. Students will also review the letters they learned in previous classes to check for understanding. There will be a slideshow for the students to follow along with. This course was created to introduce the letters to new learners and to reinforce the letters to those working on them. If your child enjoyed my "Exercise Through the ABCs: Learning the Alphabet Through Movement" one-time class, then this multi-day course is for them! Class Schedule: Week 1: A, B, C, D, E, F Week 2: G, H, I, J, K, L Week 3: M, N, O, P, Q, R Week 4: S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z Before classes begin, please make sure the student has plenty of room to get active. We will begin class sitting and I will ask the student to stand several times throughout the lesson. I suggest having the student put their arms out to the sides to make sure they have space to move through the letters. Students are encouraged to use plenty of movement during class.
Learning Goals
Students will practice their handwriting and improve their understanding of the letter names and letter sounds through movement.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello there!
My name is Kaley Solitro and I cannot wait to meet your learner! I am a stay-at-home mom to three children five and under, live in Virginia, and have seven years of teaching experience. I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education K-6 with an ESOL Endorsement from Rollins College and a certificate to teach in the State of Florida in 2014. After teaching second grade in the B&M classroom for one year and tutoring children of all ages at a learning center, I decided to stay home after having my first daughter. I have been teaching ESL online for over two years now and absolutely love the online classroom!
My lessons are student-centered, engaging, and encourage a lot of participation. Having danced from the age of three to college, I always incorporate movement into my classes. I will be focusing on letter names, letter sounds, colors, numbers, and shapes in my classes for young learners. So let's make some space and get ready to learn through movement!
Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have and make sure to follow my profile for upcoming classes. I will see you in the virtual classroom soon! :)
