Early Reading Comprehension Class (Reading Exercises)

1. Curriculum:
In this class, we will read simple stories and do reading exercises like comprehension, solving riddles, recalling information, sequencing events and interpret drawings in stories.

2.  Teaching Style:
Demonstrate:
- I will share knowledge about the dates
- I will promote learning for learners by sharing worksheets and using visuals (Worksheets, video relating to special date)
- I will demonstrate how each learning concept is used
- I will give students guidance and support when they are doing activities
-I will provide feedback to improve understanding 

3.Instruction Developmental Skills that will practiced in class:
Learning visuals (worksheets, video, pictures, books)
Listening/ Speaking: open-ended discussions
Literacy: We will write and read dates out loud

4.
Leveled stories
These stories are from our level A to C series leveled reading workbooks. Simple comprehension exercises follow each story.

Children's stories
Each passage or story is followed by questions focused on recalling information directly from the text.

Reading sentences
Students practice reading simple sentences and riddles with support from images.

Paragraphs and passages
Students read short texts (multiple sentences) and interpret with drawings and other exercises.

Comprehension exercises
These reading worksheets focus on specific comprehension topics such as sequencing events.

5.
Requirements:
-Knowing how to read(recommended) and use zoom tools (recommended)
-Participate
-Communicate
-Do activities
-Have materials ready to be used

6.
Online Rules:
-Learners can use tablet or computer.
-Learners can eat, drink and use the restroom.
-Learners can leave early if work is completed.
