Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi everyone! I have 18+ years of teaching experience at the college level. I have owned my own business consulting company for the past 18 years, working in it full-time for the past 8 years. I specialize in teaching computer software, especially accounting software, Microsoft Office and basic computer skills. I also developed and taught a specialized Call Center training focusing on business communications such as Telephone Skills, E-mail Communications and Interpersonal Communications. I believe in sharing real-life examples and having interactive classes. Students learn best often in small groups and with the ability to draw from the experiences and knowledge of others. I believe in getting to know my students to adjust teaching styles to best connect with the student's learning styles. Fun fact: I love to cook and am a fur mom of three cats and one dog.
