If your child needs assistance in understanding any math concept from grades 4 to 9, then these sessions/classes might be what you've been looking for. Listen, I have had over 25 years of experience in teaching elementary and middle school-aged students in the classroom. I've made a career of it and seen it all. Making math understandable is what I do. What I suggest, is to enroll your learner for a one on one tutoring session with me. Let's figure out why your child is having difficulties in math and come up with a strategy to support future progress. Let's change that "I can't" to "I can." I do not believe that one size fits all. My approach is to identify what areas need improvement and then work towards mastery of those skills. I teach with a variety of technologies, including the use of a whiteboard and handouts (parents need to print). This is a one-time class, with the possibility of an ongoing series of classes. Personally, I am very laid back and believe that all children can succeed given the proper resources and support. I make math fun. Have a great day!

Hello parents and students!
I’m Teacher Bob, and I’m excited to bring over 40 years of teaching experience to my Outschool courses. After retiring from my local school board, I now teach exclusively on Outschool, dedicating my time to creating engaging math lessons for students of all ages.
I hold a Bachelor of Education, have completed graduate studies in science and math, and am certified to teach mathematics from elementary through high school. Additionally, I have a TEFL designation, which allows me to work with students from diverse linguistic backgrounds. My passion for mathematics and science drives me to make these subjects exciting and accessible, helping students see the real-world applications and beauty in both.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and grandkids, as well as fishing and skywatching—activities that keep me grounded and spark my curiosity about the world around us.
I believe that every student can succeed with the right support, and I strive to create a positive, supportive, and fun environment where students can truly thrive.
