Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello families,
My name is Preethi. I live in Chicago in the United States of America. Math is one of my favorite subjects. I am a very enthusiastic teacher and love to teach math concepts to kids in grades K-12.
I graduated from University of Illinois, Chicago with a Master's degree in Computer Engineering. I have been teaching students, ages ranging from 6 - 20 for over 15 years now. My classes are very interesting, lot of fun and super useful in real life.
Math is everywhere around us. Be it in the shape of the houses we live in (geometry), in the food that we cook (ratio of ingredients), in shopping (% of discounts offered), time management, in the nature we see (ever noticed the hexagons in bee hives?) and so many more. Come join me in my next class as I help your kid become better at math!
