Class Experience

Communities use data and numbers all the time to make wise decisions.

During this LIVE session, students will complete a role-play activity that puts them in a position of being a community leader. Through the activity, students will see why it is important to complete needs assessments and surveys to find out what their community wants.

They will learn how to collect the information and then what they need to do to analyze or use it to make decisions.

They will discuss questions like
Can you make everyone happy?
How can you compromise?
What is a win-win situation?

This class requires at least 2 students for the activity and discussion.

A handout will be provided before the class begins so students can start thinking about the activity.
