Join Ms. Kim this summer as she helps rising 5th graders reinforce and retain essential 4th grade math skills before entering the new school year. 

Ms. Kim will support learners who may need extra practice, review, or confidence-building in foundational math concepts all while having FUN!!

Each class session follows a consistent and engaging structure:

📅 Welcome & Warm-Up– A quick math fact interactive game

📅 Mini-Lesson– A focused review of the day’s topic using slides, models, or real-life examples.

📅 Interactive Practice/Games and Activities – Guided and independent problem-solving with opportunities for student input and questions.



TEACHING STYLE:

My teaching style is warm, encouraging, and interactive. I use direct instruction, visual models, real-world examples, and hands-on activities to reach different learning styles. I believe in breaking down complex ideas into understandable steps and making math feel accessible and enjoyable.

Students will interact with me throughout every class session. I regularly check for understanding through questions, guided discussion, and problem-solving prompts. Learners will be invited to participate during mini-lessons, work collaboratively during games or challenges, and receive individualized feedback as needed.
