Are you ready to transform your child's math learning experience into an exciting adventure? Look no further than Mrs. Bombard's math classes! I believe that learning should be both educational and fun, and my classes are designed to provide exactly that. With our comprehensive curriculum, interactive activities, and personalized feedback, your child will develop a strong foundation in math while enjoying the process. My Math Class Approach: My math classes offer a unique blend of recorded lessons and interactive exercises. Each week, your child will have access to four recorded lessons that cover various math topics. These lessons are accompanied by engaging warm-up activities that stimulate their minds and get them ready for the day's learning. By combining theory, practice, and problem-solving, I ensure that your child receives a well-rounded math education. Furthermore, I understand the importance of practice in mastering math skills. That's why I provide additional opportunities for your child to reinforce what they've learned. After each recorded lesson, there will be a short assignment for them to complete. They can then submit their work to me, Mrs. Bombard, who will provide valuable feedback and corrections. Interactive Learning Experience: Instructor Support: Mrs. Bombard provides daily feedback on practice assignments, ensuring that your child receives personalized guidance. If learners encounter more challenging concepts, they can request short video tutorials. Additionally, 4th-grade math students enjoy a special 10% discount on Saturday tutoring sessions, providing extra help when needed. Comprehensive Curriculum: This math class cover a wide range of essential topics throughout the course. Here's an overview of the content covered each week: Week 1: Addition review, number patterns, place value Week 2: Ordinal numbers, subtraction, number forms, money Week 3: Addition with regrouping, even/odd numbers, number lines, algebraic addition Week 4: Algebraic subtraction, addition/subtraction with large numbers, and regrouping Week 5: Number forms, more addition with regrouping, measurements & scales, reading clocks Week 6: Rounding, length & perimeter, geometry, fractions Week 7: More with geometry, algebraic addition/subtraction, word problems, visual fractions Week 8: Multiplication, time, more subtraction with regrouping By following this comprehensive curriculum, your child will develop a solid understanding of fundamental math concepts, laying a strong foundation for future academic success.

Florida Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education
Having taught Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade math across 3 states and over the duration of 10 years, Mrs. Bombard is well-versed in not only various state standards but also in addressing math with those who wish to abstain from the Common Core methodology. Through this knowledge, we are able to address both ideologies within our learning. In addition to her public school experience, Mrs. Bombard has homeschooled both of her children using the Saxon resources for a number of years.
