Want to get a jumpstart on some of those topics you will see in Algebra or Algebra 2? Have you already taken Algebra 1 or Algebra 2 and are looking for a review class because you still haven't mastered polynomials and factorization? Well, I've got you! This four-week class will cover two key concepts that will be present in Algebra 1 and Algebra 2. This class has two live meetings per week. Learners will be active participants throughout the entire class. Students will be able to build understanding, have problems modeled for them, and have time to do independent practice where I can check for their understanding. At the end of each class, students will be given a worksheet/assessment to cover material from the class (and previous classes). We will go over all correct answers at the beginning of the next class and students will have time to ask questions and discuss solutions and their processes of answering the questions. Teacher expertise and credentials
South Carolina Teaching Certificate in Mathematics
Hi, everyone. Welcome to my page! 🎉
It is a pleasure to be a part of the Outschool family.
I was born and raised in Jamaica but for thefew year, I have lived and taught in the US.
I currently hold a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education specializing in Mathematics and now pursuing my MEd degree. I have several years of tutoring and teaching experience with kids at ages 12-18.
My aim is to make a positive impact on the lives of each person and student who I come in contact with and just to share my love and enthusiasm for Mathematics.
I believe that foundation and practice are vital parts of a successful math student. As such, my courses will be geared along the basics, the most crucial foundational skills that the rest of Algebra builds on, and I will also try my best to explain it in a way that makes the most sense to you.
I will also have courses that will branch out and cover more specialized topics so you have a broad range of experience and practice.
Problems will also be solved together as well as individually. In the end, learners will have a greater understanding of the various concepts and have the confidence and skill to work through and solve problems by themselves.
Check out my list of available courses to see if there are any that fit your needs.
COUPONS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE FOR SOME CLASSES.
