Description
Class Experience
Learners will improve their time management and future planning skills, while expressing their creativity in building their own planner layout. We will accomplish this through: - Discussing the general guidelines behind bullet journaling - Building on the guidelines to create layouts that meet learners' individual needs - Exploring new ideas on ways to use our planner to improve our organizational skills
In addition to my years in adult education, I spent three years working as an event planner. The bullet journaling method has helped me stay on-task and organized in two detail-oriented careers. I believe it has the potential to help high school aged learners in the same ways.
Students will work on personalizing their planner layouts between classes. Sharing your creation during class is encouraged, but always voluntary.
Bullet journal in any size A5 (6in x 8in) or larger Pencil Pen Ruler No-bleed markers or colored pencils (optional)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
