3 live meetings
3 in-class hoursClass Experience
In this introductory class, we will explore the basics of bullet journaling and create monthly and weekly spreads in our bullet journals. We will meet on Fridays for three weeks, which will give learners a solid foundation on which to build their bullet journaling and time management habits. Our class will be structured in the following way. It is important to attend each of the three classes, or view the recordings, to get all of the helpful information. Friday, March 5th: Introduction to Bullet Journaling - We will discuss the processes behind this popular planning method, and how it can help learners to start managing their time and busy schedules more effectively. We will also discuss collections, goal trackers, mood trackers, and other possibilities to make your bullet journal truly personalized. Friday, March 12th: The Monthly Spread - We will create a monthly spread which fits the needs of each learner. The monthly spread is where you will get an overall look at your plans for the month, record birthdays and other special days, and of course remind yourself what day it is! Friday, March 19th: The Weekly Spread - We will create a weekly spread which fits the needs of each learner. In the weekly spread, we record our meetings or events, tasks, and accomplishments. It's important to create your weekly spread in a way that allows you to write detailed information, and the space needed will fluctuate with the business of your week.

Teacher expertise and credentials
In addition to my years in adult education, I spent three years working as an event planner. The bullet journaling method has helped me stay on-task and organized in two detail-oriented careers. I believe it has the potential to help high school aged learners in the same ways.
