In this specific session, we will complete an interactive mini-lesson on solving two-step equations, which is covered throughout middle school mathematics. Students will complete engaging activities on Desmos to practice solving two-step algebraic equations before a friendly competition in a game of Kahoot. The Kahoot will assess the students' knowledge and ability to apply inverse operations in order to solve for each variable. High-energy and enthusiasm is welcomed from all and will make for a fun and productive session! Whether this content is new to them, or if it is a review, all middle school students are welcome! :)
