Don't know what to do with all those old broken crayons you have laying around? In this hands on class students will learn how to take those old crayons and turn them into new up-cycled ones using fun molds and an oven! Since I will be making the crayons along with the students they will have a visual to guide them through each step. These crayons will last for hours of fun and coloring. Learners will need: Oven Crayons Silicone molds in various shapes or designs Cookie sheet Tin foil Bowl of warm water or an Exacto knife to remove paper from crayons
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will be using an oven so parental supervision is highly recommended.
