Description

Class Experience

Learners will not only learn how to apply make-up, but receive affirmations and gain confidence in their creative explorations around make-up for their own unique and developing style.
As a pageant coach and judge, I often work with students of all ages to create looks that translate well for interviews, the stage, and everyday wear. As a make-up enthusiast I enjoy working with age-appropriate styles and looks and help young people feel affirmed in their explorations of creative ways to express their personal style.
At their own pace, learners will be encouraged to practice and hone their skills around a particular topic.
Supplies needed for this course include: (1) Eye-shadow palette of at least three colors (multiple palettes of any kind encouraged); (2) make-up brushes or wands for eye-shadow/highlighted; (3) a cleansing towelette and/or clean and moist cloth; (3) eye make-up essentials including mascara, eyeliner, primer; (4) face essentials including foundation, concealer; (5) other (non-required) supplies include but not limited to highlighter, make-up remover and cotton swabs, make up sponges, setting powder, soft tissue, make-up brush cleaner
40 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
