Class Experience

I own my own body-care products business where I use mostly organic, unrefined, unprocessed ingredients and there are no synthetics or anything artificial in any of my products. I've been creating formulas for my products for over six years and love doing it! I'm happy to share a glimpse into my world of making products. I also teach relaxation and guided meditation classes on Outschool and am having great success with those classes as well. Is your child interested in arts and crafts to design their own meditation art symbols? I offer these classes too! My qualifications and professional history working with children can be found on my profile page.
Students will need to have sugar and oil pre-measured and all supplies with them at the table before class begins.

1 cup sugar (pre-measured in measuring cup)
2 Tablespoons oil (oil suggestions: olive or grapeseed) (pre-measured in small bowl)
Essential oil suggestions: one scent of the following (peppermint, lavender, orange, lemon, or one your child prefers). They will need approximately ten drops of essential oil.
Optional: a few drops of food coloring to match scent choice (red for peppermint, purple for lavender, orange for orange, yellow for lemon, etc)
One larger bowl to mix everything in.
Large soup spoon is fine
Container to put it in, preferably glass (because of the essential oils). A used and cleaned but dry jar and lid from peanut butter, jam, sauce, a canning jar with lid, etc., with all labels removed.
Decorative ribbon to tie around far afterwards.
Optional: self-sticking label and marker or pen.
towel or newspaper to protect table.
Old t-shirt to wear over clothes or an apron.

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
