US Grade 1 - 3
In this group class, children will have a chance to take turns reading and then be able to share their thoughts about traveling the globe with Jack and Annie. Before class I will ask each student what books they are interested in. We must have a minimum of two students for the class to Proceed. I will decide what book to read after all suggestions are given. When class begins, we will discuss the cover of the book, the title, and I will answer any questions the children may have. Students will practice reading comprehension skills, vocabulary, and social skills all while having fun. Engaging in a group like discussion helps increase memory and recall skills.
I have taught English online and in a homeschool setting for over ten and a half years. I love books and make sure I read quite often my students in my one on one tutoring classes here on Outschool.
