In this class you, students will be learning how to make a cute little Macramé wall décor. Following topics will be covered in this class: 1. What is Macramé. 2. A brief overview of projects that can be created using Macramé. 3. Set-up and supplies required for creating Macramé projects. 4. Different knotting techniques. 5. A cute little Macramé wall hanging project. This is a one-time beginners class and no prior Macramé knowledge or experience is needed. We will be learning the knotting techniques first, before learning to make a beginners Macramé wall hanging. I will be assisting and guiding the learners step-by-step whilst demonstrating the pattern live.
Learning Goals
By the end of this class, students will be familiar with different Macrame knots. They will be equipped with techniques required to create their own Macrame projects.

Please note that some preparation is required prior to the class. Parents have to purchase the following supplies. Supplies: 4 mm thick Macrame cord, Cut in 8 x 100 cm pieces. Wooden Dowel (20 cm long, any thickness is fine) or a pencil Pair of Scissors Measuring tape Sticky tape to secure work on to a table

My name is Sangeetha. I am a Chemical Engineer who very passionate about recycling. I have working in the waste management industry for the last five years and I absolutely love my job.
As a child, I always love creating little craft project. I learnt how to crochet when I was twelve and it is safe to ever since the I've been addicted to crochet. I picked Macrame in my early twenties and I completely love it! I personally believe everyone should have a creative hobby. It is a wonderful way to spark joy and happiness in you.
My passion for recycling combined with my love for crafts, keeps my creative mind quite busy. In other words, I love to re-use junk by incorporating them into my little craft projects!
Few other things about me; My favourite colour is Yellow 💛 and my favourite author is Enid Blyton. My mum is my favorite cook. Fun fact about me, I live in a small mining town in Australia 🦘 If you ever wanna see some Kangaroos let me know 💛🦘
