In this ongoing class, high school students will explore different cities around the world and learn how to document our travels by creating sketches and watercolors.

Looking back through a travel sketchbook has always been one of my biggest joys! Knowing that I spent time to sit down and create art in a place that I enjoyed is another way to happily look back on memories from adventures. In this class, we will meet weekly to create our own travel sketchbooks and learn about techniques to quickly and accurately draw from life (or an image) and bring landscapes and architecture to life. Sadly, we are unable to get up and easily travel to these locations...
** Please know: If you do not wish to use these specific materials, you do not need to. Though you will need at least a sketchbook, pencil and eraser, and a black/ blue pen.
