Welcome to Looking for the Light - Using Your DSLR (Manual Camera) Level One! In this four week, 55-minute course, we'll learn the basics of using a manual camera. Once we begin to actually understand how to manipulate and work the manual aspects of our cameras, we can truly begin to photographically manipulate the world around us and how we want it to appear through the lens. By the end of four weeks in Looking for the Light - Using Your DSLR, students will have a working knowledge and understanding of their manual camera and their manual controls.
Students will have a weekly photo assignment based on our topic of the week, the main focus being to get outside with their cameras and practice, practice, practice!
A handout will helpful tips and advice will be uploaded for all students
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
