Class Topics: Weeks One and Two - Simple Subject, Main Verb, and Direct Object - Students will learn to diagram basic sentences. Weeks Three and Four - Adjectives and Adverbs Modifying Verbs - Students will diagram sentences that contain adjectives and adverbs that modify verbs. Weeks Five and Six - Predicate Adjectives and Predicate Nouns - Students will diagram sentences containing adjectives and nouns in the predicate. Weeks Seven and Eight - Adjectival and Adverbial Prepositional Phrases - Students will learn how to diagram adjectival and adverbial prepositional phrases. Weeks Nine and Ten - Compound Subjects and Compound Predicates - Students will learn how to diagram compound subjects and predicates. Weeks Eleven and Twelve - Compound Direct Objects and Compound Predicate Adjectives and Nouns - Students will learn how to diagram compound direct objects and compound predicate adjectives and nouns.
