I have graduated from law school and I have a Masters in Social Work. Additionally I have been a classroom teacher for several years and prior to that worked with youth through nonprofits. I have also facilitated healthy relationship workshops for LGBTQ students.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class will discuss marriage equality and civil rights for people who identify as LGBTQ. This class will be a safe space for people to learn about the legal framework for civil rights and marriage equality.
We will refer to several Supreme Court Case holdings as well as the Constitution.
