In this ongoing class, students will learn about Torts -- the legal theories behind civil law. Students will use their critical thinking to analyze cases and apply their knowledge when "issue spotting" for their imaginary clients' cases.

Students will learn the legal theory behind civil law. Students will learn how to read prompts or listen to scenarios and perform "issue-spotting". Students will learn how to apply the rules they learned for each tort and analyze whether the plaintiff will win the case in the different scenarios.
I have six years experience working as a paralegal at various law firms and have real-world experience working with lawyers and clients. I am also a law school student that excelled in the topic of Torts, earning a 4.3 in Torts I and a 4.0 in Torts II. I also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for my performance in my Torts I class.
