W E L C O M E Level 2B Part 3: Continuing Piano Adventures with Ms. Diana In this course, we FINISH THE BOOK! Please note: This is for those continuing from "Level 2B Part 2 Continuing Piano Adventure" of our fun + interactive later beginning piano courses with Ms. Diana! My Goal: Learner: Hi Friends! I can't wait to journey alongside you in piano. My goal for you is to have fun, learn, and make some awesome new friends in piano. S O N G S We will play some songs you know and love (Vivaldi's "Spring" and "This Old Man"). Plus, songs you might not know yet but will soon L O V E! G A M E S My goal is to continue to develop each student’s individual musical ability and to challenge them to become the best possible version of themselves! P R A C T I C E V I D E O S If you need a little more help with your songs, don't worry! Each week you'll be sent special practice videos to guide you through the new songs and a performance level so you can see and play along with as well! L E A R N E R C H A T Have a question? Feel free to send Ms. Diana a video or message to help you! You don't have to wait until the next week for help - Ms. Diana is here for you throughout the week as well. ADULT: The beauty of the group lesson is that it becomes an automatic accountability community! Students WANT to come back to class prepared each week and enjoy seeing other students play and learn along the way. This later beginner course will give students extra guided practice time as well as a focus on the theory that coincides with each unit covered. Due to the nature of this course involving moving into more challenging material, practice is REQUIRED. Please be prepared to assist your learner with incorporating at least 4 days a week with the ability to play through their pieces for 20-30 minutes. This time will not only build confidence but also help them as they now continue to add more advanced techniques and theories to their knowledge This course will move into: Eighth notes Transposing Phrasing This course will cover Units 3-5 of the Level 2 Faber Piano Adventures Lesson and Theory Books You must have a book from the first class Link to lesson book: https://tinyurl.com/PrimerLessonBook Link to theory book: https://tinyurl.com/Level2Theory Class 1: Unit 6 Review The Damper Pedal Class 2: Unit 7 Eighth Notes Class 3: Unit 7 Eighth Notes Class 4: Unit 8 The Dotted Quarter Note Class 5: Unit 8 The Dotted Quarter Note Class 6: Unit 9 The Primary Chords Class 7: Unit 10 The F Major Scale Class 8: Class Performance of their favorite pieces! Presentation of Level 2B Part 3 completion certificates DETAILS:: The course is structured around the concept that children learn music through immersion! Your child will be given the opportunity to hear me play to model how their pieces go. We will then discuss the songs as they use "visual analysis" in understanding what is happening in the music. This allows the student to build their listening skills (ear training), sight-reading (reading music), and creativity (applying musical knowledge to their piece!) Lastly, we'll spend some time in our Theory Books to continue building on our foundation. 🚨 SCHEDULING NOTICE 🚨 Single Student: Referred to Private Lessons Groups of 2: 30 Minutes Groups of 3: 40 Minutes Groups of 4-5: 50 Minutes *Fee is the same regardless of the class duration. BONUSES THEORY GAMES Students will be sent to students individually which will allow them to play and receive immediate results. PRACTICE VIDEOS Following each class, there will be practice videos and performance videos available for the learner to review the songs completed in class. This is to support the learner in their journey for extra guidance throughout the week as well as train their ear for correct notes and tempo. IMPORTANT! Practice videos will be available in the classroom each week for students' review of the material as well as full class recordings for missed classes. For our final meeting, Class 8, we have a PERFORMANCE for students to showcase their songs that they have enjoyed most! PRACTICE IS REQUIRED: Due to the nature of this course involving moving into more advanced material; developing a regular practice habit weekly is important and required for your learner’s success in the course. Please assist your learner with incorporating at least 2 days a week with the ability to play at least 4 times through each song (about a 20-30 minute practice session). This time will not only build confidence but also help them as they incorporate new concepts learned each week! NEW TO THE COURSE? If you are switching from another teacher or series, please message me and we will discuss what the best place to start would be for your learner. I look forward to journeying alongside your learner through the wonderful world of music! The material used in this course is composed, arranged, and written by Nancy and Randall Faber. Parental Guidance
Parents, I ask that you please sit with and observe your child (off-camera please as per Outschool policies) for at least the first 4 weeks (entire course if age 7-8), to help guide our young learners, make sure that their camera's are set up properly, and so they are able to have you there to work out any issues that may arise.
This virtual world is very new for everyone, and my intention is that learners + parents have the most positive experience possible.
Students MUST have their camera on the entire time.
This is for:
1. The safety of all students.
2. For me to guide your child through their pieces best. Without being able to see them, it is not possible to assist them in playing to the best of their ability.
3. Please be sure that the camera has the student and piano in view. Again, this will allow for me to better help your child perform their best to correct any technique or questions accurately!

Our goal is to ensure that each student who joins our studio feels seen, heard, and loved from the moment they log in.
We know and understand that in order to learn, students need to feel part of something. Here at Dynamic Piano Studio, your learner will feel like they belong!
All teachers are:
- Experienced musicians
- Certified K-12 educators

- Learner focused with a focus in creating an environment that encourages learning and growth
Ms. Diana has taught this same group piano method for over 19 years at a local elementary, middle, and high schools and for 4 years now online.
Every Spring was a sold-out standing-room-only recital to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of the students I’m so honored to teach. Ms. Diana truly loves and believes in this approach to teaching and learning after seeing the community, support, and performance ability that grows from such an experience.
Here, we teach piano lessons for beginner students or for those who would like to refresh with our classes as well!
Above all else, we like to make learning piano EASY and FUN!
Our goal is not only to develop musicians but also to create a community that fosters respect and encouragement between learners. We are invested in helping to create better individuals who grow up to be caring and responsible adults through the use of music!
"I can honestly say that I believe I work with the most incredible families here. Thank you to those who have joined the "Piano Adventure Family" and fill each and every day with joy on the journey. I don't take a single family for granted and see a purpose for each of us being together in this season as we learn and grow together."
