My experience over the past nineteen years, both in the classroom and studio, has shown me that the best way to motivate learners is to make the learning process feel 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘺. This has been the key to unlocking potential that my student’s didn’t even know they had! The majority of my students move through their books at a faster rate than the “average” time that the publisher suggests it should take – 50% less time! I believe it is directly connected to the exploratory and creative environment I create in my lessons. It’s very exciting and motivating for a new student to see how quickly they can learn music! During these 12-weeks, students learn the basic fundamentals that they need to play piano and complete the first part of the “Accelerated Piano Adventures” series together. There are 3 levels to this Level 1 experience which will get students on a great start to their studies alongside one another in an engaging and supportive environment. The program has a total of 32 lessons moving through material at a pace that has been proven effective for over 600 students! 2. Order your book! No need to re-watch the entire lesson - unless you want to! We will cover the basics: - Posture - Hand Position - Notes on the piano - Rhythm - Music Vocabulary - Reading basic music 𝗗𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗦: The course is structured around the concept that children learn music through immersion! Your learner will be given the opportunity to hear me play to model how their pieces go. We will then discuss the songs as they use "visual analysis" in understanding what is happening in the music. This allows the student to build their listening skills (ear training), sight reading (reading music), and creativity (applying musical knowledge to their piece!) 🎶 ＢＯＮＵＳ 🎶 Play-Along 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗢𝗦 Following each class, there will be a practice video available for the learner to review and play along with the songs done in class.
