As a former elementary teacher and school librarian, writing is a skill that I love to work on with students. Writing is like being a sculptor---molding, creating, and refining your creation! I love to equip students with writing tools and strategies to help build their confidence. Incorporating a variety of ways to make the writing process fun, I love to use my background of reading to bring in books as well as games and props. I believe creating a learning environment that allows a creative way to express themselves through writing helps students tell their story! What will YOUR child's story be?
No homework
writing paper pencil or other writing tool optional: a notebook, rather than using paper or a device to type if you'd prefer that for your child Teacher may supply graphic organizer or other materials for the class as needed. These will be sent to you via Outschool once enrolled and at least 24 hours in advance.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
