Class Experience

US Grade 7 - 10
!! Basic BTS knowledge is necessary for this class to be more enjoyable, however this class is also a great chance for students to learn more about the group each week. !!

Annyeonghasaeyo! (Hello!) This class will be a weekly discussion club for none other than worldwide popular K-Pop group, BTS! This will give students the chance to share their enthusiasm for BTS, meet other likeminded A.R.M.Ys and learn some new facts. If you thought there isn't enough to discuss every week, think again!
Together, we'll discuss simple topics like BTS songs, dances, fashion, and even our favorite BTS hair colors. But we'll occasionally touch on more meaningful discussions like music video theories and philosophy through their music such as 'Love Yourself, Speak Yourself'.

*Due to this being a discussion based class, the class will be cancelled if it doesn't meet its 2 student minimum.*

Class style: Each class will be different so that learners can gain a variety of experiences. For our discussions, learners will be prompted to take turns expressing their opinions on a topic. Sometimes the teacher will deliver a topic presentation where learners will listen and discuss. Importantly, students will also have the chance to interact with each other through various games and activities! Whilst I want my lessons to be plenty of fun through exciting discussions and playing games, I would also like my classes to open the minds of the learners so that we gain appreciation for BTS, music, arts and life itself.

Weekly Agenda:
- Oct 2nd: BTS hair talk
- Oct 9th: Jimin week
- Oct 16th: 'Yet to Come' music video discussion
- Oct 23rd: BTS quiz week
- Oct 30th: BTS Halloween!
- Nov 6th: BTS eras
Learning Goals

Teacher expertise and credentials
I'm personally a huge fan of BTS since 2015. For me, I'm inspired by everything they do, from composing their own songs to performing complex choreographies. Since I have a bachelor's degree in Film and Media, I also have a great appreciation for the detailed story-telling through their music videos. Significantly, I'm amazed by their ability to advocate messages about mental health, self-love, struggles of adolescence and truly living life to the fullest. Ultimately, they came from so little to being worldwide famous, yet they still remain incredibly humble. Whilst I want my lessons to be plenty of fun through exciting discussions, playing games and looking at the aesthetics, I would also like my classes to open the minds of the learners so that we gain appreciation for BTS, music, arts and life itself.
