Let's Rhyme! ~Build a Strong Reading Foundation
In this ongoing class, students ages 3 to 7 as well as ESL learners will practice hearing and identifying rhymes in words. This class is for students who want to add a little fun to their reading and develop a strong reading foundation with an experienced teacher.

Class Experience
~Student will use listening skills to identify rhymes in words (phonemic awareness) ~Student will use language skills to say the rhyming pairs and to identify words that do not rhyme. ~Student will use social skills to interact with others and take turns. ~Students will use creative skills to draw some rhymes. ~Student will occasionally use writing skills to create lists of rhymes.

1 file available upon enrollmentThe student will need a pencil and paper and crayons or colored pencils or a white board and markers.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
