In this class students will learn how to make an animated GIF on the application, “Procreate”. GIFs are a series of images or soundless video that will loop continuously and doesn't require anyone to press play. (You can view my GIF I created on the video above). Procreate is only available for iOS. The Procreate application on iPads (only) is required to take this class. The application is also available for iPhone (only) users, it’s called: Procreate Pocket. I will be sharing my screen so that students can follow along. I will show them step by step how to turn a motionless picture of Pikachu into an animated GIF. No experience is necessary for this class. My teaching style is patient, encouraging and fun. My main concern is that students feel comfortable and confident during our meeting.

I have been drawing every since I was young and have had the pleasure to work on a couple of freelance projects over the years for musicians, authors and personal requests. Outside of my love for art, I am a mother, an Army Vet and an ESL teacher. My techniques are broken down to the simplest form in order to help every student understand how to create art. I believe drawing is a beautiful ability that everyone possesses. This ability allows a person to express something invisible from their imagination into something tangible that they can kept forever. The feeling of completing an art piece is amazing in itself. Unlocking those abilities in others is something I love doing. I like to view my personality as patient, understanding and fun. It’s important to me that these qualities are conveyed in class to help children feel comfortable and confident in what they’re doing. Reviews
