US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 1
In this class, your learner will be creating their own maps. We will learn how to differentiate between land, different landforms, and water. We will also learn different map symbols, cardinal directions, and how to create a legend. During this class, your learner will be making both a city map and a treasure map. This class will have many opportunities for your learner to speak if they want, and they will be given the opportunity to present their maps to the rest of the group at the end of class. Your student will need two pieces of paper, a pencil, and crayons or markers to color.

Hello, my name is Seana Mohr!
I am a certified K-6 teacher and am passionate about teaching reading, writing, and math to students in Pre-K through third grade. I believe that learning should be fun and try my best to keep lessons engaging and interesting. I have been working with children for 15 years and have done everything under the sun. Most recently, I have spent time as a kindergarten and third-grade teacher, math and reading tutor, and ESL teacher. I know that every student is unique and with the right tools and strategies they can reach their full potential.
