Class Experience

In this one time course, students will be introduces to the coins pennies, dimes, nickel, and quarters and their value/worth. There will be a lot of practices with actual coins, pictures, and videos. I will show student a different coins and have them try to figure out what the coin is and what the value/worth is. We will discuss as a group which each coin is and what the value is.This course has a ton of repetition in it so student can get the information over and over. Student will need a very basic understanding of what coins are. I am looking forward to see you in class!

Hello! My name is Sarah Fillmore. I am so excited to teach with Outschool!  I have been teaching inside and outside of the class room for about 15 years now. I have taught students ages 3 to 18. I love teaching all ages. 
I have my Masters Degree in Social Work. I also have experience teaching on different online platform. I have been teaching ESL online for almost three years now. I have my TESOL certificate as well. 
I am very passionate about teaching and my learners learning. I love to have fun in class but also be able to learn at the same time. 
In my spare time, I love spending time with my family. I have 2 children a 10 year old boy and a 5 year old girl. We love living the southern lifestyle as we are new(ish) to it. We enjoy going to parks, to the beach, and creating lots of family memories. Outside of being a mom, I enjoy photography, reading, and designing and making tshirts. 
I am so excited to be part of this Outschool community. I cannot wait to teach you (or your child) inside my classroom. I am looking forward to seeing you in class.
