Does your child struggle with identifying coins? Let's boost your child's money skills in this fun, hands-on class filled with songs, games, and more! ~ Join us for an engaging, hands-on class that will keep your child listening, participating, and learning. ~ We focus on coins all week to gain a better understanding of coins! Students will learn about money-coins. ~ Students will participate in activities that promote learning math vocabulary. ~ We will talk about the coins, what they look like, what is on them, and how we count them. ~ We will also practice counting, sorting, and graphing them. ~ We will practice counting money to buy items. * Your child needs to have 10 of each coin other than the quarters; they only need 4. * We will be counting them and manipulating the coins to learn. * If you do not have access to coins, please print them off and cut out the printable with the coins provided. ***** Join us for some hands-on money fun! ***** The topics each day are as follows: Day 1: Identifying pennies and their value. Day 2: Identify a nickel and its value. Day 3: Identify a dime and its value. Day 4: Identify a quarter and its value. Class is taught by an experienced, licensed Early Childhood and Elementary Teacher with a Master's in Education Curriculum and Instruction.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to identify and state the value of a penny, nickel, dime, and quarter.
Students will be able to count coins.

Supply List
This class also requires the following coins: 10-pennies, 10-dimes, 10-nickels, 4-quarters. Learners will need a dry erase marker to write answers on the printable handout. Please put the handout in a plastic sleeve for reuse all week.
