I will be reading short fictional passages with students to teach them how to make inferences while reading. This is a vital part of reading comprehension. I use the I Do, We Do, You Do approach which includes all learning styles for better mastery of subject. I will begin reading a passage and model how to make inferences. Then, we will read a passage together and discuss what inferences we made about passage. Finally, the students will read a short passage and then share what inferences they made with group.
