In this ongoing grammar class, we will focus on a different aspect of English grammar each week. During each class, learners will familiarise themselves with the rules, and then begin to put it into practice through activities, worksheets, and games. Learners will use the grammar in both speaking and writing during each class. There will be a worksheet to accompany each class to help to reinforce the grammar. It will be helpful for learners to come to class with these printed out. What will we learn? Week of 9/6/25 - Possessives Week of 16/6/25 - Present simple of 'have got' Week of 23/6/25 - Demonstratives, possessive pronouns Week of 30/6/25 - Countable and uncountable nouns Week of 7/7/25 - Present simple with I, you, we, and they Week of 14/7/25 - Present simple with he, she, and it Week of 21/7/25 - Questions with what, who, and prepositions of time Week of 28/7/25 - Imperatives Week of 4/8/25 - There is/are, some and any with plural nouns, prepositions of place Week of 11/8/25 - Can for ability Week of 18/8/25 - Present continuous Week of 25/8/25 - Object pronouns, like love hate +ing form Week of 1/9/25 - Can for permission, must for necessity Week of 8/9/25 - Some and any with uncountable nouns, how much, how many Week of 15/9/25 - Adverbs of frequency Week of 22/9/25 - Present simple or continuous? Week of 29/9/25 - Past simple of be, past simple of have Week of 6/10/25 - Past simple of regular verbs, ago Week of 13/10/25 - Past simple of irregular verbs Week of 20/10/25 - Be going to Week of 27/10/25 - Subject pronouns; Present simple of be Week of 3/11/25 - Articles; Position of adjectives Week of 10/11/25 - Nationality adjectives and Plural of nouns Week of 17/11/25 - Possessive adjectives Please do contact us with any questions.
